PERIOD doesn’t shy away from talking about a problem that is so often ignored: a lot of people can’t afford basic menstrual care. This youth-run nonprofit needed help amplifying their social presence and Swift was happy to step up.
Staying true to our commitment to be a part of something bigger, Swift offered pro bono services to PERIOD throughout 2017. We developed and designed a new website and a social media campaign to position them as the leader of the menstrual movement. Focusing on PERIOD’s youth leadership, we created a digital space that strengthens their credibility and communicates specific ways for people and organizations to get involved. These efforts, combined with support from new corporate sponsors like Kotex and Tampax, and twice as many donations from individuals, enabled PERIOD to serve 160,000 menstruators across the U.S. in 2017.
